Bharatiya Janata Party president Amit Shah claims Saturday during a press conference in Tripura’s capital city Agartala the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) to win 300 seats in the Lok Sabha elections and about fifty will be contributed from West Bengal and northeastern region.
He said, “There is no challenge to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the NDA. We are going to win 300 seats in the Lok Sabha polls.”
Amit Shah was in the city to oversee organizational matters of the party for the upcoming general elections and credited party workers for the win in the state’s Assembly elections earlier.
He lauded Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb too for his good leadership in the all-round development activities in Tripura.
He said, “The State has been immensely benefited from the 129 schemes the Central government introduced and the cooperation from the Centre would change life of all sections of people of the State.”
Amit Shah lashed out at the Congress saying creation of mahagatbandhan would not yield any fruitful result to them as BJP will surely win 21 seats in the Northeast and about 23 MPs will come from West Bengal.
He confirmed to be visiting all the northeastern states before the general elections.
Amit Shah continued, “The BJP means development and through its good governance, 22 crore families benefited under different schemes.”
he addressed a huge gathering at the Swami Vivekabanda Stadium too.
