Mamata To Go On European Tour

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will visit Germany and France in the month of September to attract investments in the state. She will be accompanied by a group of businessmen and will participate in meetings of the Chambers of Commerce in the two countries. Her ambition is to promote heavy investment in West Bengal from Europe. For the last two-three years she has been working hard to bringing major investments in West Bengal for which she has organised world several meets. She wants to show the development in West Bengal before the Lok Sabha election.

 

 

RAJASTHAN MPS WANT TO CONTEST FOR ASSEMBLY

 

Sensing the good Congress position in Rajasthan, most of the senior party MPs are trying to fight the coming assembly election. Although soon after the assembly election there will be Lok Sabha election in March-April 2019, they believe that Congress might be able to form the next government in Rajasthan, so they want to contest the assembly seats. Their flock includes CP Joshi, Girija Vyas, Namo Narrayan Meena, Lal Chand Kataria and many former MPs and leaders. The confidants of state party president Sachin Pilot are also on the look out for a suitable assembly seat for him.

 

 

KUSHWAHA SEEN MOVING CLOSER TO RJD

 

As the Lok Sabha Election comes closer, RLSP Chief Upendra Kushwaha is coming close to RJD day by day. Recently, Kushwaha said delicious “Kheer” can be prepared with milk from the Yadavs and rice from the Kushwahas. RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav extended an invitation to Kushwaha to align with the RJD and said that “kheer” prepared with love and affection is delicious and full of nutrition. Bihar is known for its cows while the Kushwaha are primarily agriculturists. But RLSP national general secretary and spokesman Abhyanand Suman denied any rift in NDA.

 

 

RAHUL FORMS PANEL TO SPEARHEAD RAFALE CAMPAIGN

 

Congress President Rahul Gandhi has announced a powerful committee for spearheading a nationwide campaign against the government’s controversial Rafale aircraft dealt. The committee consists of Jaipal Reddy, Shaktisinh Gohil and Arjun Modhwadia. The old faces and three new faces of Priyanka Chaturvedi, Pawan Khera and Jaiveer Shergil complete the lineup The committee had a meeting with Ahmed Patel and Ashok Ghelot immediately after it was set up. Ahmed Patel, trusted aide of both Rajiv Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi, has been appointed AICC Treasurer in place of ageing Motilal Vohra. (IPA)
